JavaScript jQuery image loader: load image & fade in

This is a very simple image loader useing jQuery. This will load image first, than fade it in.

Put this code into your html.

You image loader has a size limit. I made a test page & tried to load a 1.6MB pic (only to test!!), and found that Google Chrome and IE(x) won't load the image. Do you know what the size limit is?? Thanks - Alex
